New Camera!! Yay

Ive been terribly ill this week and havent been on much. My grandmother is in town and we went to the aquarium today. I recently bought myself a new camera...(yay)...and took some pics. Cant wait to feel better and play some more!



I have an awesome macro setting and believe it or not, this turtle was about the size of a half dollar!

Life Long Friends

I just have to say that Im 30 now, and I just have been doing so much reflection. I remember growing up , and in school there was always an underlying pressure to fit in. It seems that the "group" of friends that you had were ones who had a lot in common, and other than them you didnt speak to many others. I have a handful of friends that Ive known now over 16 years! I cant believe it. And no matter how much time goes by in between the times we may not see each other, we always can pick right back up. We still can answer each other's sentences and love each other like family. The one difference I have come to realize now that we are older is that, I now understand that we don't all have to be alike in this world. And dont even have to be jst alike to be friends. There is such a respect there between us and reguardless of our differences or mistakes, we will always be there. I remember my mom telling me when I was young that when I got older i'd be able to count on one hand the number of close friends Id have. And it is soo true, bu the ones I do have are wonderful!!!

This is Life

So, I have thought to myself soo many times in the past few weeks...that I love to write, just have a hard time finding what to write about...? I havent had any significant accomplishments recently to boast about. I guess really surviving every day with these wild kiddies of mine is a feat in itself. I skipped school today and played arond with some new photo editing software that I discovered....love it . Did manage to do a load of dishes..(in the dishwasher)..he he...anyway, I had an exam in my night class and couldnt miss it. So, I went and did well....usually we are free to leave as soon as we are done with the test, tonight my teacher ordered us pizza...yummy! If I hadnt eaten it like 3 times already this week. And usually I do rush home as soon as I finish the test, but today I just hung out a while I was in no huge hurry to get back to the chaos I call family. I returned home from school, walked through the dining room, and put my books on the table. I took two more steps and felt something under my foot......I looked down and saw this!! You decide....evidence from a crime scene...? Or GI Joe's missing assault weapon. ;)

Today was our first beach day of the new year!! I love the beach!! It is one place I can take the kids and can go more than 2 hours without an argument!! Dean worked all wknd, so it was a nice change today to be able spend the day relaxing! We even got a little sun! We had to bribe the kids with ice-cream to leave...lol.
