A Few of My Favorite Things

So, I must admit...I love it every single time Oprah does it. ( I usually cry ). But everyone knows that the show to watch of the season, is her favorite things show. Anyhow, my favorite friend Candace allowed me to re-live this idea, and i absolutely loved it....you can check out her favorite things here....

I loved reading her little blurbs about each item, and so I decided to give it a shot. Like her, I wish I could give you all each of these wonderful things..sadly I can only afford to share these with you.....

Nextly, this is the book I just finished. Don't get me wrong....I am at most times reading several things. But this one I really enjoyed. Some of you may not enjoy her, but I just think she is hilarious. This book reminds me not to take myself so serious...a light read :)








Ok, anyone who truly knows me, knows I love socks. And the funkier the better..so I love this site I found while searching one day for leg warmers. Since it has been unbelievably cold, these are my current pick.....gosh i just love them and think they are the most adorable things.






So, my next favorite thing took me by surprise. I live in a house full of boys...I often find myself secluded in my room as they occupy the rest of my house. My husband is a "gamer"....those of you who are know what Im talking about. It's like a secret society in need of an intervention....anyway, on Christmas morning I woke up and found this next fravorite thing in my stocking...lol, seems Santa wanted me to venture out into the gaming relm....




i must say, I am a mother of 3, full time employee, full time student, and wife....I dont have much free time, but I have spent several hours..( yes hours ) playing this game. I Love it! Any of you who are my age and remember Disney's Fantasia...this game is fabulous. Aside from the fun and challenge of this game, I also found this...
in my stocking as well... :) Just makes me a happy girl :)





Ok, the next thing is something I use daily, and love love love. Music, art, photography I love all of these things. Like clockwork my morning begins with this next thing and usually ends with it too....a Christmas gift from the hubs last year.... The SkullCandy pipe not only has amazing sound quality, but just looks cool as heck too :) enjoy

Wow where to start?

Well, lets see. They say that time heals everything, and I have found that to be true. Its been months since Ive last posted and I feel it necessary. The kids now are back to school. Gabe started kindergarten this year, and keith is in first grade. My oldest, Dylan, is in the big eighth grade. Oh how I remember the good old eighth grade...you too huh Candace? :) Anyhow, I have made it through another quarter and am well into a new one. Two more to go and Im done....whooo hooo.!! Until I go back anyway. Dean and I have moved to a new house, one which I would love to take tons of pictures of if it wasnt a chaotic mess at the moment. We began moving in about 3 weeks ago, and things were really moving along. 4 days into the move we found out we were pregnant :). We figured this out due to the horrible most disgusting nausousness I have EVER felt. I mean whoa!!! From that day forward I was done, couldnt move another thing, smell anything, cook anything, ughhhh. Needless to say we STILL havnt gotten everything out. Anywho, this week after much contemplation of having my whole freakin stomach removed I went to the doctor to find that the pregnancy was eptopic and needed to be removed immediately. The surgery went fine, and I was feeling so much better that evening. Emotionally things have been a little tense for both of us, but I have realized that my health is so much more important, and we both have kids who literally HAVE to have us around. So I am ok. I am feeling great, I can Eat again.....YAYAYAYAYAYAY. I have unpacked a lot and got out of the house for a while. I cant wait to take some pictures.....anyone, anything. I feel back alive.......:) Hope this sums it all up a little. Miss you all!

Ahhh....back to school

Its been a fun little break...very short none the less. I ended up with 3 A's and a B....ughhh...I go back to school Wednesday..but I am headed to South Carolina for a few days on Thursday....any how...hope you all are well.

Got home from a fun filled vacation in Virginia yesterday. We are still recovering and unpacking. I promise to post new pics soon, I have two weeks of school left and so its a little hectic. Stay tuned!!
